2. Ear Health Assessment:
Using a medical device called an otoscope, we view your ear canal and drum to see the blockage and help us assess the situation thoroughly.
3. The Procedure:
You'll recline comfortably in our treatment chair while our specialist gently removes the wax using the suction device. You will hear a slight rushing or "whooshing" sound. The entire procedure is typically completed in 15-30 minutes.
4. Final Check & Aftercare:
We will check your ear canal once more to ensure it is fully clear, and then provide advice on future ear care and answer any remaining questions you may have.

No. Our methods are gentle and safe, and most patients find the process comfortable. Microsuction can be loud sometimes, but it is a pain-free method of earwax removal.

It’s not always necessary, but using olive oil drops for 2–3 days can help. Earol could be used instead. We do not recommed Otex drops.

Yes, we can treat children — but please call us first to discuss their needs.

Our earwax removal professionals use microsuction in about 90% of cases. They will judge what treatment is best for your unique circumstances during the Ear Health Assessment. That being said, if you strongly favour one treatment over the other, we will take that into consideration.

Microsuction is suitable for everyone, but may not be recommended for individuals with a perforated eardrum, ear infections, or those who have recently had ear surgery. Our trained professionals can advise on the correct course of treatment.
