Is ear wax removal suitable for everyone?

Microsuction and irrgiation ear wax removal is suitable for most people, both children and adults. However, it may not be recommended for individuals with a perforated eardrum, certain ear infections, or those who have recently had ear surgery. Our trained professionals can advise on the correct course of treatment.

08

Are there side effects to microsuction?

Microsuction is a safe procedure with little chance of side effects or complications when carried out by one of our qualified professionals. In very rare circumstances, patients may experience dizziness, ear trauma, noise damage, or ear trauma.

What if you cant remove my earwax?

Our trained professionals will assess your needs and advise on the best treatment options. If treatment isn't advised, and no wax is removed, you will be charged an Ear Health Assessment consultation fee of £30.

Occasionally, earwax may be too hard to remove completely in one session. If this happens, we will recommend using olive oil drops for at least three days before returning for a follow-up. If your follow-up appointment is scheduled within seven days, it will be provided free of charge.
